A world leading centre of education & research, Oxford University's exisitng and new assests comprise of a diverse portfolio of buildings ranging from Science & Research (Laboratories), Offices, Teaching Spaces, Sports Centres and Heritage Buildings. In our capacity as Framework Consultants, we are supporting the University Estates Team with a wide range of design consultancy roles successfully delivering schemes across University's building portfolio.
We have successfully delivered full design services commensurate with BSRIA BG6 Stafe 0-7 (RIBA Plan of Work 0-7). A very recent example of our delivery would be feasibilty review, design and compliance monitoring role on University of Oxford-Department of Atmospheric Physics refurbishment/extension scheme.
At a newly constructed £40mn hub of research - 'Innovation Building', we undertook an independant review of the electrical installation within all areas of the building including Bio-Escalator, NovoNordisk Labaratories and Multi-Storeyed Car Park. We engaged with multiple stakeholders to programme and undertake 'Instrusive' surveys and delivered concise 'Survey Report' identifiying non-compliances to Electricity at Work Act and BS7671 - Wiring Regulations including recommendations on means to address installation deficiencies.
We look for adding value to our service at all times! As a part of this, we have made contributions to University's M&E Design Philosophy document update including guidance on Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations.
Our work as resident engineers embedded within the University's Estates Team is the testament to our client's trust and satisfaction in the quality of our service.
